super cool. i got an english car mag on the way back home from our scottish vacation... "octane"... kind of aimed at the old man/rich guy/vintage 'racing' (oh heavens no wouldn't want to brake too deep old chap, might bend a wing you know etc LAME) guys.  but a nice lancia retrospective. guy who wrote the article owns a fulvia hf fanalone and a streetgoing stratos. super cool.

Man, one night at about 3 in the morning with nothing else to do my buddies and I where about to go home when a Stratos came by us flipped us off and ran. THe dude raced off the parking lot and into the street HITTING a Ford pick-up right in the passenger side. Slamming it into a 180 spin and amake into a fence. Then the guy trys to get away again. We few down our busy cruise street at about 140mph. Crossing one intersection through the air and sparks sprayed off our cars. He tryed for a right turn and couldn't get it to turn, almost nailing a T-pole. Just then it started smoking and soon within a couple blocks it blew up. We drug him out when the Ford truck arrives and then the cops. Memories of the past.

Maybe this year. Mary Ann and I tried to go last year, but I was in the midst of moving to Southern Cal.
