My Brother builds Custom Acoustic Guitars and plays Bluegrass music. He's a well know musician in the Bluegrass scene. It's not my thing but hey, whatever floats your boat. Here's a link: www.trampasguitars.comGood Looking Guitars! I play a little but not much.

I don't play very good but i really love to go nuts sometimes.I think its my pressure relief.I recently got a Line 6 Spider III Amp and can really make some awefull noise pollution with it.

My brother and I used to have a ton of guitars, I used to play bass (a little), but he had to sell most of them when times got tough a few years ago... had a couple of Stratocasters, a Les Paul, Mako bass, and two amps... he even had a 4 track mixing deck and a few effects pedals! Damn, too bad they're gone.... could have taken my stuff to VW events and played!

Just picked up a Vintage Blond Squire Telecaster and small Fender amp. Getting the calluses back after all these years has been tough. Check out www.tdpri.com for guitar fanatics.

Used to collect Silvertones years ago, had this 335 look a like with a Bigsby Not Mine but looked just like this ..it was SWEET, oh and Peaveys and a few others...drums, recording crap, Rock-a-billy band etc, did a few songs at Mike Gibbons (drummer Bad Finger) house, even got to use his kit for our songs. Band broke up/sold all, now just a Ovation For anyone intrested in pixies...here's the old band....me on drums, my Silvertone on right

I have never had a issue with any Ibanez. I have a LOT of hours on both those guitars. I have had a few different ones over the years. The JEM is a very nice piece. The tuners are always on the money but on these models its hard to tell as they have a locking trem system. I have looked and played a lot of custom rigs out there and I believe they really arent that much better than the Ibanez. ESPECIALLY if you customize it to you. Most of my stuff has been re-wired and different pickups installed to my taste.

I'm a big surf rock fan... have a 1998 limited edition Fender Jaguar (blonde body, red tortoise shell pick guard, gold hardware) and a cheap Fender acoustic I bang around on. I mainly love early rock and surf instrumentals, good stuff. Oh yeah, and Adam Sandler songs.

Dang got another Quitar today...I just went down to the local Guitar and Board shop...he sells skate boards too...I wanted to look at stomp box's see if something new was in.He had got a bunch of new guitars in.I saw this one....looked nice a LTD...tryed it out not knowing cost or anything.I say Dude! How much is this one.He says $259 ...No way! Man its sweet for a economy guitar.Sounds really good on clean but not so good on metal setting but i have the EC500 for that anyway.Bought It! I really like it.....Its a LTD H51 Only thing i might put some Grover Tuners on later, other than that not bad.

i don't play but wish i did. i had a room at in the late '90's and he had about 15-20 guitars. the best sounding one's i have seen him play where the les pauls, a nice gretsch, and the strats and tele's. he even had a guitar that paul mcartney played when with the beatles that looks like a violin not sure who makes them though. my brother in law grew up with brian setzer living across the street from him and my brother in law had recieved a settlement from a lawsuit and he gave brian the money for the band to go to england to record their first album. they couldn't get a record deal here so it was easier over there. i saw the stray cats last year at the jones beach theater here in Long Island, New York and they talked about living in the town i live in now which is Massapequa, NY.

It's been awhile since I've posted here but I do look in from time to time. And yes I have the guitar bug as well. Leo Fender got it right the first time. I bought a Vintage Blond Squire Telecaster. It plays so much nicer than the junk I tried to play in the 60's. I can still do the Ventures and suf tunes I'd played then, but the plans are for some lessons as I really want to play other stuff than I'd done in the past. Pictures will be comeing soon. Nice to know of like minded poeple. Though they are Tele fanatics you might like to check out this forum http://www.tdpri.com/They discuss gear, artists(a few of whom post regularly), set ups and builds. Good forum
