O'Riley's recently moved into my area and I have to say that thier store brand brake cleaner kicks ass!
It does everything brake cleaner was ment to.  It cost about $3 a can but works at least twice as fast as anything else I've used.

Oh yea,  If you get it on your skin it burns kind of like gasoline on your scalp. Grin

I thought that was something all VW owners that have pulled an engine could relate to.  I must have worse luck than most people.

It sucks really bad.  Had to wash my head down with a garden hose.

Nope, I've definitely spilled fuel on the ol' melon more than once.  Hurts more when you have no hair, too. Made me rub my head just typing about it...

O'Reily Auto Parts also carries a number of air-cooled VW parts. I picked up a complete set of front wheel bearings, races and seals last weekend at O'Reilly, after finding out that the usual VW shops in the area didn't have all of the parts in stock.

In addition O'Reilly is a sponsor of the Texas Volkswagen Drag Racing Association, which makes them doubly cool in my book!
