After reading the CLF threads about E85, and "Gas prices getting to you?", I thought I would post this link to an article, I found on the internet.

I skimed through this, it is a pro ethanol piece.

1. There is not enough corn in the USA to make this happen at that level.
2. Unleaded is at 100% engery standard, ethanol is at 75% and methonal is at 67%, why use a lesser fuel for less power and less MPG.
3. If the USA is all that conserned about oil consumtion, we should do like Europe does, use Diesel fuel for it main fuel. Diesel has more bang for the buck than gas, let alone the ethanol/methonal fuels. You can have small turbo diesel engines in the autos which will give you 50 MPG.
