Wasn't there abig post about how this doesn't work before?  Buying it the day before or the day after is the same as buying it the day of.

I can't believe people are stupid enough to believe this.  It only works if nobody consumes fuel.  If people did boycott all the gas stations on the 19th, all that will happen is they will fill up on the 18th and/or the 20th.  The total consumption over those 3 days will be EXACTLY the same as without the stupid boycott.
If you want to make a difference, convince the entire country to stop consuming fuel for one full day.

Yeah! YEAH!!! STICK IT TO EM!! STICK IT TO THE MAN!!!

The scary part is, there are millions of people who think this is a great idea, that it'll actually work to get back at BIG OIL. These people are our neighbors, our co-workers, in some cases our friends, out there sharing the same roads, breathing the same air.................its a sad, sad state of affairs. These must be the same people who voted for John Kerry. Veeeeery freaky.

Maybe instead of calling names like "horse face" and talking about how horrible it would be if he had one. You should come up with some substantive criticism that goes beyond more name calling, like "flip-flopper."

I would like to try a gas out, just to see what would happen. The problem is when we all talked about this last year, a date was set up and everyone said YA, lets do it. When the day came people forgot about it, didn't plan properly or just didn't want to be inconveniced! We are all just too spoiled. I don't complain about gas prices because I'm like every one else. I drive were I want and when I want. By myself and back and forth. I wish everyone would just shut there pie whole and pay it or make a change in how they use there gas. Just a thought Grin
