i credit obama for this (kidding, but i'll probably still get flamed) No flame sinikl, but if Obama-Gore-T Boone gets there way, "cap & trade" will drive up the price on oil, fuel, coal, natural gas, so electricity and everything else will go up by passing along the costs to anybody who buys anything. Diesel in Victorville on 3-6-09 was $1.97

Yep, we're headed up again. In one week we went from $1.99 to $2.19 with a short stop along the way at $2.04. Saw a station yesterday at $2.25.

We are at $0.84 a litre ($3.17 US gallon) up here in Canada but I don't really care since I run used filtered engine oil as fuel at a 50% ratio with diesel in the winter, and 80% in the summer.

Up here in NE Wisconsin the price actually dropped a bit this week. Was $2.24, now $2.19. Are any of you guys that are running trucks older than a 2007 model year concerned about the new fuels with lower sulfur? The fuel is designed for 2007 and newer engines. Same with the oils. Are you guys doing anything to try and protect your engines and fuel systems? Mine is an '05 and I'd like to see it last for years.

What I am doing is adding one "red bottle STP" to supplement the oil on each oil change. Each fillup of diesel I am adding 4 oz. of "Marval Mystery Oil" to each 10 gallons of diesel fuel. The price of diesel in my area is $2.33 a gallon, 4-5-09
