THE COMMENT WAS DIRECTED TO YOUR LINK BRIAN, NOT YOU PERSONALLY.

Really?  Here is his comment below that I took personally Kathy which maybe you missed or it got overlooked by accident. But either way it wasn't included in your quote about? The quote you showed was the line right before this one so maybe you just didn't read far enough to see the jab at me.

Quote
it's much more interesting when people take a stand on the issues; when they quote sites that they believe are reputable... you know, like turbobob does.

That isn't a jab at me personally?

Yes, it is a jab but I got a chuckle from it, dont let it get to you Brian, just let it roll off your back. Of all the things Dan has said to you, this one is not high up there in the jab department, IMO. Smiley

I agree Bob, just found it interesting it was pointed out that it WASN'T a jab and that their was creative editing that left the actual"jab" out

Your right, of all the attacks and jabs Dan has sent my way this was nothing.

He challenging me to a wrestling match and commented  he wanted to see "what I was made of" is the one that sticks and changed how I look at him and how I react to him from then on .

And I will remember I above the rest!

I'm Out of here

so your claim that we can drill our way out of this problem is not valid.

Lets see, for the past 30 years there has been a stranglehold by the Dem's (head in sand, special interests) to refuse upgradeing our oil, coal, nuclear power systems. We got by as a nation because we just purchased the oil and fuels from other nations to make up the shortfall around the mid 70's when we started to consume more than we were pumping.
In 1975 America had 210 million people, 2008 we have 304 million people, 94 million extra people and no NEW refineries built sense the 70's. That is 94 million extra everything that the Dem's refuse to take note of, the extra energy of 94 million new Americans.

So one could do as the Dem party has been doing for the past 30 years, the sky is falling, global warming, oil makes us sick, coal makes us sick, put our heads in the sand
OR
get real and start drilling, expand, explore, pump, build infrustructer, keep jobs here, refine here, sell here, build a collalition between the three North American countries, become independent from the Middle East.

"WASHINGTON - High gasoline prices have dramatically changed Americans' views on energy and the environment, with more people now viewing oil drilling and new power plants as a greater priority than energy conservation, according to a new survey."

a. Too many times, if it were true I would be on your side.

bob, perhaps you forgot where we left off, before that little temper tantrum session derailed the discussion.

i pointed out that your bush government said that there weren't enough proven oil reserves in america to cover what we use, and you claimed that what they said wasn't true.

the ball is in your court... where in america are these proven oil reserves that your government doesn't know about?

Creative editing?  I love to be creative Smiley

I like you Brian, you're a great guy, but I don't agree with your opinions of Dan.  I don't know Dan, but being a spectator throughout this whole saga I tend to side with him because he hasn't resorted to the personal attacks like I have seen toward him.  I've seen him slamming the republican party, but that is not personal, and I don't take it that way.  He has a right to his opinion.   When people start using "I" or "We" in a political topic they are usually setting themselves up for negative feedback.  Don't take Dan too personal.

Life is good!

Then you simply have not been paying attention, end of story.

Kathy, anger is not even an issue here...... I'd say "bewilderment" sums it up much more accurately.
