Bought new truck.............

I picked up my newer truck last nite. I bought a 2000 S-10 Extreme with 28,000miles.. I got a smoking deal on it. It has the Vortec V-6 in it (190hp and 250ft lbs tq.) alot of the ones I've seen had 2.2L 4cyl. It was funny before I went to buy it I was looking the Summit catalog and they sell a Powerdyne super charger kit for them 7psi boost I'll be glad when the Jetta sells. I've got it out front. Hopefully I can find a sucker to buy it. I won't be sad to see that POS go. -Jacob-

hey jacob what year jetta do you have. i have one too and your right what a POS. mine is a '01 vr6 glx and i hate it.

2000 Jetta GLS VR6. Never again. It was the worst car I have ever owned. It was funny I went to the new car show and looked at the GTI's (06) and had a sales rep come talk to me telling what great cars they are blah blah. Needless to say I told yeah right I told him about all the troubles I've had with their car and service. He just um must been just your car. We never hear anything bad about our products. I just laughed and walked away. I was ready to punch the guy. -Jacob-

you should have told him to visit our aircooled forum and post a question like how many people out there love ther fairly new vw's. i bet then he would have changed his mind. seem's there is quite a few of us on here that hate them.
