When I decided to get back to racing (after 25 years or so) I didn't know there were no Bikini contests at VW races any more,  Shocked Huh, might have passed on the whole idea if i'd known.  Cry  BRING BACK THE GIRLS!  Grin

In all seriousness, I can totally understand some women getting a boob job. Boobs to women are alot like a man's "package"-- if the package ain't full, it could really mess with self-confidence. The difference is, a woman's package is on constant display and totally obvious all the time, where as a man doesn't have anything to worry about until game-time. Those women usually get some boobs that are sensibly proportionate to their body type, not looking to stop traffic but just enough to feel good and not go around embarrassed. The women who bother me are the ones who go for the overly-inflated plastiboobs (which ususally look like crap or just plain ridiculous) just to get more attention when the Good Lord had already endowed them with plenty to begin with.

I remember a bikini model back in the late 80's that had two children and she still looked HOT! Can't remember her name at the moment.

Sac BOR around 1989 - Flash during bikini contest - yes she was kicked out of the contest for doing it (image blurred, not matter how hard you stare or how close to the monitor you get you won't see anything lol)

I was there and I remember that most ALL of the girls in that contest were from some local strip joint or something. It was the "trashiest" event ever!

Oh and did you notice that it was when I was down to my last reserve rol of film  and it happened when all I had was a roll of black and white !!!!

Back then I used to buy a brick of film  (20 rolls over a $100) and take everyone at an event. Then have to pay to get them all developed ($5-8 PER ROLL).
It was not a cheap thing, but I enjoyed it and am glad I have all the photos today!

Allot of $$$tied up in the boxes in my office!

But ran out that day and dug in my bag to find a lonely roll of Black and white, oh well

LOL I was so pissed at only having B&W left as a young hormone enraged adolescent, LOL!

Just for you Jim

Shannon Rae - for a long while there wasn't a VW event that she wasn't in the bikini contest. Not sure if she was dating a racer or what but she was everywhere back in the late 80's

These two were regulars in nor cal shows.  Cary Thompson on the left (she has passed away from illness I found out) and Christa Campbell has gone on to be pretty successful in "B"  horror movies and can be seen on movie releases on red carpets some times

Wasn't it Tina New or one of the bikini models from the 80's that was part of a murder of a Dr's wife or something.  Something to do with dumping a body between California and Catalina.  I don't believe she was directly involved but was having an affair with the husband.  I believe the wife was a successful physical therapist.  I remember a Dateline on it but can't remember which model.  Anyone?

Christa Campbell-- I remember her more clearly than most, seen her in many a bikini contest. Sac, Pleasanton, and Sears Point I do believe, mostly through the early 90's.
