Tickets go on sale Sat. for B.B. King. I've always wanted to see him live. Has anyone seen him play live? I can't wait. He is getting older so I would like to see him before you know. -Jacob-

I saw BB King a couple of time. If you like the blues, BB is a good show. He has to sit for the whole show but he can play.

no I haven't but if you get a chance, see Buddy Guy.
He plays guitar like no one else, and gets to it, for an old man.
I'm a HUUUUUUGGGGE blues fan.
My fave is Howlin' Wolf, by far!

WORD. I've seen Buddy twice, what a showman!!! And his backup band is with it, too. My bro went to see BB last year at his club in Nashville, and at the end of the show BB said, "everybody bring your guitars up here for a jam." Needless to say my bro was pi$$ed he didn't know to bring his! Who'd have thought?

My little sister saw BB King in Portland a few years ago, and even got to go back stage to meet him; he has a thing for cute blondes, and she fit the bill! She said he was very polite, and a lot of fun to hang out with, even got an autographed CD from him.

I saw him play when he was 74 years old. He came on stage and announced he'd been playing for fifty years. So he got some applause and some cheering. It was not enough, so he said " I said FIFTY YEARS", and the crowd went pretty crazy. You will have a great time. Another one to see is James Brown-both he and his band are incredible, saw him about 2 years ago. Even in the August heat, he was up there dancing around in a purple velvet suit!

I saw Elvis on his "Knock on Wood" tour.... All you could hear was a little pounding noise and a very muffled voice.... Couldn't see him though....
Too much dirt....
My favorite song was "Wormhouse Rock".....

I saw BB in the fifth row dead center. It was great! However, he was clearly upstaged by the opening act - a young buck by the name of Buddy Guy. In all seriousness, both acts are great live. BB doesnt exactly get real creative, mostly that left handed tremelo action, but his band makes up for any lack of depth. Buddy Guy simply rocks! Hopefully I will see them both again.
Drove cross country last week with several friends in our early 911's. One of my friends was the sound guy for SRV during the Texas Flood era. Man has he got some great stories!
