i hate to say it lest i be accused of bein a lefty shill, but global warming is real. sucks but it's true. so what can we do? i think us gearheads should be allowed our co2- and other gas-spewing cars, cause we appreciate em. boo to the clueless soccer moms in the 15 mpg SUVs tho. at least we understand and enjoy every second of our fossil-fuel-burnin... unlike them. am i right?

Be careful what you wish for, Brian... you know where *I* live... you've been here. I haven't seen temps over 80 degrees (except for a trip to Redding last August) in over a year.

In 1990 I attended a Div. Six race in Medford. It was July something and for two days the temp was 113 degrees. Hottest race of my life and I've raced in Phoenix (both tarcks), Vegas, Palmdirt, Bakersfield, Albuquerque and other hot places. Medford gets the trophy. Kool track though.

Yah... We actual had one day last summer that we Matched records highs with Phoenix.... It does get hot.... The track is in White City about three miles from me.... White City is the center of the Agate Desert.... It is 1450ft at the track and the correction is usualy in the 3000 ft range....
