Great film!  I went to see it on opening night here and they had 3 or 4 vintage Indian motorcycles on display.  The small theatre that holds maybe 50 people was almost full of bikers in leather jackets.  It was great  Grin

Yep, I was looking forward to it for almost a year.  Ended up driving 60 miles to see it.  Just started the book tonight.  Seems like it is going to be a good read!

This film seems to be out of the Normal Distribution Loop as it shows at various Film Festivals, small venues, etc. we saw it advertized as a one night showing at our McMennimens Tavern Lounge, a total sell-out thus they turned away 150 people, this guy fits into the Type Person Tom Simon talks about in the above Post, can't wait to read the Book !  Cheers.........

The previews I've seen look great, again no theatres around here showing it. Anxiously awaiting the DVD release...

Bert Munro is a cool dude although his choice of woman can be a bit scary. Lips Sealed

I was at Bonneville while they were filming that...   I was talking to the one and only Craig Breedlove at his shop last weekend, he said "Fastest Indian" is a MUST SEE film, like Sea Buiscut everyone cheers for the underdog. I heard they mentioned it on one of the Academy Awards shows, they were shocked the film didn't get nominated for anything, bu I guess that is typical for indi films, if you aren't part of the Hollywood "good old boys" club you don't get any distribution

I went and saw it last night, what a great story, it is a must see at the movies, the sound of that thing is fantastic. The period cars they used in the movie were very cool. even a rag top Beetle.

I saw the spaces for it on the shelf at Blockbuster a couple weeks ago, but all the DVDs were rented out.  Sure wish I could have seen it in the theatre.  We get the lamest movies in the theaters, and they don't even show some of the best ones.  Hollywood needs to wake up...
