Really?  Wow, I guess I will have to get out there to that show then!  I will be out there without my car - again.  For some reason this show always catches me with my pants down.  I have parts out for coating now and heads going in the mill this week.  I'll have it on the road in May.  I hope to make it out there to see you guys.  I keep watching that video, it sounds so damn good Tim, again, nice job!

Tim,
Are you going to be able to bring her south to any of the shows in say Northern VA, Maryland? Just curious and want to see that ride in person!

Nice pictures Ike!  Looking forward to seeing you, Dave, Tim, Josh, TP and the whole VW gang for Litchfield.  I was talking with Tim about hitting Lebanon Valley sometime after Litchfield for a test and tune Saturday - this is a MUST DO.

That is one sick stance!!!! The car looks absolutely awesome. Very nice choice on the colors for the two tone.
Sounds sweet in the videos too.

the beam is raised 2.5 inches with the frame head...narrowed 7" and dropped spindles with adjusters...the adjuster are pretty much at the stock location. oiled filled shocks with limiting straps..car rides killer other than a few raised pavement issues doesn't bottom out.

overall pretty happy with how it turned out...the paint and fit and finish isn't to bad but the mech. parts are awesome. need to get some wheelie bars and a window net in her before I go take her down the track though...

I gotta add...I've been driving this car back and forth to work which is a little over 20-25 mins away and to car cruises all over the state...3 days a week...got well over 400 miles on her and other than the axle thing and the dizzy cap aexploding it's prett great...

never would have thought a 400hp pro mod style car on the street would be do-able...

yeah baby!!!!!

Man, I love this car!  I know I've told you this already privately, but I have to say it again - the way you had the turbo set low behind the motor is so perfect.  The side profile of that car is porn.  I love all the stock stuff you left on it (vent windows, bumpers, side trim.)  The stance is just right.  The deep rear wheels and MT tires are icing.  Everything works so well together for the overall look.  Seriously, dude, you've inspired me to get moving on my own project.

What brakes did you use front and rear?

thanks SOOO much there Ric...this car is a hoot out here in New England...with a little over 300 miles and counting she's running real good and drives 100%...I can't wait to see the looks this Sun. at our first show of the year...hopefully it doesn't rain.

the funny part is it's a total pan chassis car...just what Chip started with...I used to love the pro street cars of the day...my buddy Ron I. has Scott Sullivan's '67 nova bought it in '84 I believe...and long story short, just had it at the shop the other day for a freshen up and from there I realized I went the right direction with the chassis car.

brakes are nothing special just a set of AC industries front and rear dics with chevy pattern rotors...stops just fine no need for over the top brakes for the street..and plenty of room at the track for slow down anyways.

the newest dilema is the air cleaner really blows..gets all the road dust, too low of a profile and kinda hangs over the fender a tad unless I turn it and honestly just looks cheap. I opted for a "hat" style carb cap (like a blow through turbo thing for chevys, procharger inspired) and a 4" cone air cleaner set just shy over the intake side of the turbo...looks the part but I'm still undecided..painted the hat  satin instead of the polished to take the cheapness look out of it...g'damn ricers ruined it for a pratical street cars looking for more air I guess...at least it doesn't have a "fart" can...

WOW Tim 400hp? Did you have it on a dyno already? With those kind of numbers that thing is going to be MAD FAST down the 1/4!! Just need to plant those ponnies now. Wheelie bars are in order for that monster!
