from the look at the large street signs in the back it looks like it was new york to me. i just cannot read them very clearly. after reviewing it better by pausing it i was able to read the sign and it is new york right near john f. kennedy airport which is very famous for street racing for about 30-40 years now. this kind of car is nothing i used to see some real high dollar cars from all over the tri-state area come to race here. not out of the norm to see some pro-mods to prostock cars running for big bucks. years ago it was so bad nypd set out a sting operation and took video of guys racing and the next morning they where knocking at your door arresting you for illegal racing. they even take your car now and you do not get it back. nypd made a few examples of 2 mustangs years ago they confiscaded and turned them in all out marked police cars. one was even supercharged. they used to sell sweatshirts with the car embroided on them that said you race em and we take em. these cars graced the front page of muscle mustangs and fast fords years ago too.

Wow! Pretty crazy. People lined up so close... They're lucky. Still, an awesome wheelie! i have seen times where there is so many people that there are people lined up on both sides of the cars including the middle. cars would do burn outs on the line lock and the people would just keep pushing the back of the cars to keep them from hitting them. crazy stuff. a long time ago my friend was at a race and some guys started shooting at each other over a deal gone bad. it is as bad as drug deals with these guys.

2stroke, I certainly don't condone street racing, but anytime a ACVW can come from behind and overtake a V8, that's friggin' cool no matter what!

I've been done to the Berlin Turnpike a couple of times. All I ever see down there is people talking about how fast their car is and doing burnouts throught the taco bell drivethrough lol

That car is one of the .netboyz cars from NY. They have some bad street cars. They run in NY and also come to Philly for big money races.

Marty... that's Metone Blvd where the Belt Parkway makes that right hand turn by Sunrise Highway. I grewup a few miles from there and remember the late 60's and early 70's when every Friday night there was street racing.

Yes Scotty, I will be at the Shakedown this year. The .netboyz and also the smallblockposse do alot of street racing and also grudge racing at our local tracks. They had a couple of 10k+ races last year. They are defitently no joke. I know of one car that runs 8.20's on radials with a small block and one kit.
