The car is still in "paint and body mode" the guy that did the paint and body did like a 80% job, he didnt give it 100%, so we are having another shop redo the paint and body. If you are going to build a high end bug, you want it to look high end. so thats where we are with it.  We will get more pics up with progress soon.

Here is some pics of the little baby motor franklin is going to put in the 67.
its a type4 2770cc , it has 80 stroke crank,with 5.5 carrillo rods, custom built FK89 for type 4, potter built straight cut gears, fat performance custom built type 4 case, case has 911 oil squirter, set up for type 1 lifters. It also has J n E 105mm pistons, 21mm light weight wrist pins, pistons have been pocketed for intake valves, the intake valve is 52mm the exhaust valve is 48mm. we are running triple mopar springs, running a jaycee 52mm carbs, a cb 4 quart sump with custom adaptor to a type 4 motor, with cb 2\" header modified for type 4. and a fat performance 911 fan shroud.
