Air Cooled Motoring Enthusiest (ACME) Presents Northern Nevada Drag Day.
open to all VW's.

Date: Satarday June 16

time: 9: AM to 9:0 pm

Cost: $35. Car and driver plus $10. Jackpot
spectators/ crew $8.

Where: Top Gun Raceway, Fallon Nevada

We have a current prize fun of $500. plus the jackpot money to be split to semi finalists.
Until I know how many people to expect we can break up into classes Current count is about 10 we have 1 Pro Mod car, 1 Unlimited street car, and a host of others.

So the current format would be .5 tenths Full tree Laddered bracket race.
this track is an NHRA certified track located about 3.5 hrs from Sacramento aprox 4500 ft elevation (my old car ran 9:40 here @144 mph) so the track can stick the power.

The main sponsors for this Event are .
Richard Allison @ Ron's Refrigeration
Jason Fuller @ Fuller Collision Center
Jerry Matsko @ J. Bros. Racing
If you have any question direct your calls to Jerry @ (775) 720 - 4622 after 4 would be prefered or you can E-Mail @ jbrosracing@gmail.com.

Forgive me if i have missed something. this is a first time event we have our own lane, and will be running in conjunction with another event so the track should be excellent.
they also have an excellent SAFETY CREW to handle any problems.

So llet's start a list see how many would be willing to attend.
Jerry

Edited: instead of payed down to Q finalist to semi's

Steve,

Are you saying the big motor is going to be done, or the car will be driving again with the little motor?

I have been working as hard as possible to get the motor done, but everything has been breaking over here. The truck failed smog so I need to rebuild the heads and then get it smogged again. The rear apron is off on the 67 and I am trying to make it removable so I have better access to the motor. I still need to get with KCR and order my trans. Have over $800 set aside for that. I have welded up part of the torque brace I am building, so now I just have to mount the brackets that tie the shock mounts and the frame horns together.

Jason, could you mail me a copy of that flyer?  I don't want to forget about it, as I live in Lakeview...we regularly get quite a few Fallon racers to come out to our 1/8 mile track here in Lakeview, Oregon and I'd love to go see some VW racing, even if it is a four or five hour drive...email me: ryan68bug@hotmail.com.  Thanks!
