If I go by what people "say" -  yes,  but I am sticking with the 8 car feild and feel pretty good about 12+ trying to qualify for it.
We shall see how many people follow through.
They wanted an 8 car show and that is what I plan to deliver. It also keep the purse money up there.

I have done everything I can to give ALL of the qualifiers an equal shot at winning.
For example - One of the slowest qualifiers is going to the semis.
Everybody has a chance.  Wink

I take it, with this new class at Irwindale, there will be no Quick-16, just T-1 ?
That is OK, I will enter T-1, if my street car was a low 6, I would enter your class.
PS I also like your ladder system.

After continued conversations with Ron Fleming, we have decided the class will be named

Outlaw Turbo the are some good reasons for this - trust me.

Also, there will be at LEAST two qualifying passes. We are trying for three but entry count and track "issues" will dictate what we can do.

I have been assures that the track will be prepped and taken care of for this class.

Good luck to all!

EXACTLY!

Gee, how about having a race where the racers can actually MAKE some money?
Not such a novel idea but my heart is in the right place.

Now THIS is Old School vs New School, Then and now.
Mike Durkee's OLD School Pro turbo Ghia from 1983 with nothing changed, same old engine,Same Old rayjay Turbo, rusty header with cracks, and a side draft vs Eric C. New School Monster!
