Well I must say that this was one fantastic weekend.
I drove my Split to the  Open house at Vee Dub Parts unlimited  around 1:00 pm  and met Steve Atkinson there. Great food, thanks guys.  Had a great time chatting with friends that I normally see at the track but don't get a chance to sit and chat with.
Then I headed to WCCR for Lenny's open house.  Passed by Nicks Bugers around 3:00 pm and it was already crowded. Got to WCCR and it was crowded but ewveryone was waiting fo rHot Dog Fred with beautiful cars there also. Got to hang out with E Girl and Dempsey and shoot the breeze and then my wife came and hung out after work.. Great food there also.
Then we all headed off to Nicks Burger for the finally of the night. Wow, some great looking street cars Wink
Shawn Geers and Shawn Moores took off and just sounded incredible. Roger Crawford brought his V8 out and although it has too many cylinders , it is a bitchen car. Took off from Nicks around 11:00 pm and headed home.
The next morning the team, minus Steve who was home nursing his sick wife , met a Gene Berg Ent. for the Rally. We had a blast. We left there around 10:00 pm and needed to get up early for the Classics.
Pulled up at the Classic around 6:00 am and there were a heck of allot of cars waiting already. I unfortuanetly was separated from the rest of the guys since I brought my restored split but Richie and Jon brought their race cars and Jon even drove his show car down.
It was a great day. Got to see so many great people and hang out with not only the Vintage crowd but racers and drink a few adult beverages.
I took 1 st palce in the Split Vintage class
Jon Schweers took first place for his show car and 1st place for his Choptop as Host Club choice.
Aweesome day and boy am I tired.
Congrats to  all the winners and everyone that made it out.  Your cars looked great and it was great seeing you.
Sorry we missed Barona. Congrats to VW Paradise for the new record and to Red Baron for and awesome display of power as well.
