SEVWA Race in VA June 17th, show, swap & Unlimited Street East

Northern Challenge #2
Held at Motormile Dragway in Radford, Va on June 17th.
This event will feature a Quick 8 Heads up racing as well as the NEW Unlimited Street class.
Of course there will be $3500 given away in 3 bracket classes.

All VW Car Show and swap meet all day.

Saturday night June 16th, we will be having a cruise in at the track. Approx time is 7pm. More information to come.

Just a little over a month away!

We will be having a parade lap around the Speedway Saturday night. We need to be lined up by 6:15 on the dragstrip side. We need about 10 to 15 VWs. Need to be at the dragstrip by 6pm. Just send me a PM, if you are interested in doing it.

We will be having a cruise in at the track Saturday night, but the time is TBA at the moment, since they may have a make up race that night.

This event is just a few days away! Over $7000 being give away in the Bracket and Unlimited Street class! The design listed in a post above will be our show shirts as well as dash plaques and a few posters. Shirts will be available for $15 in sizes S-XXXL. Posters are $5. Be sure to come by and get yours early!

The first 50 show cars and drag cars will receive a goody bag with lots of goodies and a dash plaque. Don't forget we have lots of door prize giveaways! Be sure to bring your other half of your gate ticket to the registration table to be eligible to win some Jada Toys and much more!

Gates open at 7am for Swap meet and vendors only. 8am for everyone else. Racing starts at Noon.

 We hope everyone had a great time at the SEVWA's Northern Challenge #2 held at Motormile Dragway in Radford, Va. Weather was perfect, but we think because it was Father's Day, that did make a difference in the count through the gate. But everyone seemed to have a great time! 50 Racers, 40 show cars & approx 15 vendors came out for the day. We hope in the future we can get more of you to come out to the show.
Motormile Dragway is a great place and we plan to be there again next year, but will most likely move back to the 2nd Sunday in June.
We would like to thank the Roanoke Valley VW Club for their help and support of the show, our two show sponsors Salem Imports and Northside Restorations. Also Troy Sellers and sponsors for the awesome Unlimited Street East race class. They put on one heck of a show!
