Not sure I am ready for a trip that far out of town yet with the '67. Need to do some shorter trips first. --louis

Not on the strip, but in the show. Will also be dragged from Maryland to California for The Classic.

Looks like I'm the first one home? Nice day, the place was packed! Met some forum members, didn't spend much money, drove my Bug 300 miles; overall it was a good time.

Yeah, the air-cooled side of the show is once again taking over the watercooled side! Been a long time since that happened. Hot as hell, gotta love the DC area. RK looked like he was gonna die, lol. He told me that damn humidity was killin' him, heh heh.

Just got home. Drove my Ghia 300 miles round trip for about the sixth time. Ain't no trailer queen no mo', but happy to have taken 1st in class.
The '50 Split was incredible. Both trophies well deserved.
Any info on that black/blue drag Bug with the wing? Fast and consistent!! I think it ran a 5.94? Anyone have photos to post?
Great weekend.....looking forward to September. I'll be unveiling my '64 Notch.

The Blue bug with the wing is Aaron Creech from Ohio, which at one pass ran a 5.99. Holeshot Photos (Stephen) will have photos posted soon on his website and I am sure he will make a post on here with the link to them. Good to see many of you at the race.Kathy and I were busy getting the word out about the Radford, Va race on June 17th and hope to see many of you there! That race is going to be awesome! At least I hope so anyhow!
