I've been going to the NAG meets in Pleasanton since November, making the drive out from the San Jose area with the BLTN (Better Late Than Never - http://www.bltnvw.com ) group along with 67Jason.
This past NAG meet with only 4 cars (weather scared others away, didn't rain though), I guess I won the $50 raffle for Buggy House.
The previous meet we had about 10 VWs and the first meet in November was about 7 VWs.

Here's the flyer for February's meet and cruise. A few of us from the 510 will be meeting at the PARK and RIDE on Center Street in Castro Valley at 7pm, leave there around 7:45 to shoot up 580 into PTown.

Norcal Aircooled Group is not a club, just an organized cruise and raffle to give us something to do.

THIS FRIDAY IN PLEASANTON!!!!
Just a reminder. And a bump to the top.
Weather looks good. A few other forums are talking about this event too so we should have a good turn out.

Everyone try to make it out, I'm bringing my camera to take some pics to post.

Also, if you're driving out from the (510) via 238-580, a few of us are meeting at 7pm at the Center Street Exit PARK & RIDE parking lot. We'll leave from there at 7:45p to head out to PTown! If you take the Center Street exit off 580 and drive straight  thru the 1st light, you'll go right into the parking lot.

N.A.G.'s Meet, Cruise and Raffle.
 This Friday!!!

quote from  tony on the samba thread :

Hey everyone!
Well, both my mother and father inlaws are going in for surgery and dialysis at the end of March. So we are moving down south (4 hours) to help them out for about a year or two....or until everything settles down. It's happening pretty fast so we're taking the next few weekeds to go down there and look for a house and job.

So, I need someone to take over the "organizing" of this GREAT gathering. It takes about 20 minutes of time per month and showing up at the gathering too. All this person would need to do is:
1. create a quick flyer (WORD), email it out to the email list i have and post it on the samba.
2. show up to the meet and be the point man for when its time to cruise and the point man for anything else you want to happen ie. raffle.

Again, it doesnt take much time and its a cool night to keep going!!
We had 20+ cars out there and 25+ people .. it's needed in this area!
