I will be there at approximately 11am.  I always manage to get a decent spot-- I don't care about being blocked in, since I stay the whole day anyway.

That's something to keep in mind-- if you get one of the regular parking spots, plan on being blocked in until at least 8PM. If you need to leave before then, there's a ton of parking in the parking lot across the street...

I can show you pics of my shorts -- cause just watching Richie swapping ends going down the street caused a few new stripes in them -- --

If you think you've got a Bad Ass car -- you better think again -- Richies car's picture is now next to those words in the dictionary

As far as the cops showing up to ruin the fun -- --- --- I think they showed up in time to keep the rest of us from embarassing ourselves -- -- Richie got a standing "O" when he drove back by going to the freeway. The only water on the street was just the little in the gutter he rolled through -- -- diffently not a factor in his display of Haul Ass HP.

I had to leave at 8PM, I wasn't feeling so hot, but I was there around 10AM and spent the whole day there... glad I got to catch up with a lot of folks!

It's about a 2 to 2 1/2hr drive in the bug, but when the weather cools down I'll pull the muffler off and come on down.

Wow... that'd be quite a hike, but when you're able to, come on down!

It's always hot down in Palm Springs Danny -- Throw it on the trailer and use the air conditioner in the truck

Yeah, thats the other thing I need to get- a truck and a trailer.  When the temps get back down below 100 I'll be back out in the bug.

Anyone remember Boondoggle's? That was when the Dairy Queen owner changed brands, and then I heard he got deported back to Canada since his visa was tied into the DQ franchise... That started the year-long Sonic experience (damn, I miss the Coney dogs!)

Not too big a showing this past Sunday-- obviously because of the weekend, but still the die-hards showed up! Grin

Sorry-- I've only been as far east as Michigan, and didn't know about Sonic back then... but back on topic, Nick's wasn't too bad this past month, considering that it was 4th of July weekend!
