I'm just trying to drum up some STREET LEGAL VW's for this event.  This event is HUGE.  Over 700 racers last year.  I went last year and qualified 9th out of the quick 16 running high 10's.  I was the only VW air cooled racer there. You can run a straight pipe off the turbo but NO STINGERS.  They consider the turbo as a muffler and not as a straight header.  The great thing is all Imports race all Domestics all day.  Shoot me an email if you would like to go.  This event has become so large here at MIR (along with a few others) that they ened up paving the enitre pit area parking lot past the traps. Can a get a few people with some quick street vw's to commit?  I don't know about dunebuggies or open cockpit vehicles but you can click on the link below for info and rules.  This is the LAST event of the season for MIR.
