yes, I have two passes left to do and the physical os complete as well. I will be there when the gate opens to get them done before the crowds. I think I heard there might be Santa Ana's this week.
Great to see you Vegas Richie. I only saw one pass of yours and the car got out of shape abotu the 1/8 mile, almost reacted like and axle issue.

There are rumors flying about you and the car, care to confirm?

Hopefully someone will have a camera for tomorrow. I would like to see Lance pass his driving test with the two last passes. Will they make you parallel park between two orange cones as part of the license

Just got home. Sorry did not get it tonight. Car kept getting stuck between gears. Gotta pull it out tomorrow and see what's going on... KEVIN... I coming over tomorrow.
Anyway the car was running great. 1.40 (60ft) 88 mph @ 6.78 in 1st and 2nd gear. If only had third I woudl have my license. Oh well next Thursday.
Hector was jamming. I saw two passes 6.73 @ 120 mph and 6.11 @ 116 mph. I think he was going ot go again but I took off. He is just getting it dialed in.
Good to see Richie Webb running. I saw one pass of 6.89 I think was his time. What a bitchen car.
John Meade was running 6.50 - 6.70's. Looked great buddy. Put the big motor in for next week.
Larry K. , Darrel B, Steve D. and a few other VW's were also running. Larry broke an axle and I saw the other guys run but don't know the results.
Good night or racing regardless.
Thanks for the tow John.

Oh and share a funny story with ya.
Before I went to Irwindale tonight  I decided to drive the newly purchased  Speedster to my UPS store 2 miles away. I went out the car and the battery was dead. I threw it on the charger and headed out. I left the car running and as I left it stalled. It would not start battery was dead. So I decided to bump start it. When I jumped in and mashed the accelerator the throttle cable broke. I was screwed. No tools, no parts. I looked behind me and there was Home Depot. 1 pair of pliers, one flat head screw driver and 50 ft of wire. 30 minutes of crawling under the car and feeding the wire through the tunnel and wrapping it around the linkage and pedal and we were good to go. The car fired right up and I drove it  home.
Gotta love these things.

There are some really good pics here. I dig the one of Richie wit smoke all around his car and you can see his headlights poking through.
Lots of fun.
