You Guys have fun out there i am out for the season, unfortunately, the engine ended up having some damage, to some parts,,, Huh Huh Huh Cry Cry Cry  thanks to the lazyness of the guy who put it together... But i have no worries since the Big DOUG GONZALEZ and his crew will be taking care of business to start the next season without any problems, making some major changes to the engine. . sorry guys i really wanted to make it to vegas but you all know how it is sometimes you can make it some times you can't..

have fun at the strip guys...  SEE ALL YOU NEXT SEASON... Wink Wink Wink

Sooooooo?Huh? How did it go last night  Huh

Well I had two issues last night; I had a Fuel regulator take a Chit….. and it was flooding it out……. the other issue on my first passes I broke a spark plug?HuhHuh
I felt it go down on 3 cylinders about 50’ form the line, my only pass was 6.588 at 98.69 MPH with letting off as soon as it went down on 3, my 60’ was a 1.393 spinning off the line, thanks to Marty thrashing to get it running but he was working against a broken fuel regulator, I took the today off to fix it to get the car to the Panic on Sunday ….. I love that show, hope I can pull this off…. It may be a long night…. Lance was making runs to get……. Well I will let him tell you, And Jayson’s car sounded STRONG….. I was busy in my pit to see what he was running?Huh Well back to work…………hope to see you all sunday!!!!

Here is a link to pics from Irwindale
http://www.bowtie0069.fotki.com/2008-irwindale-pix/91808irwindalepix/

We had a great time and I really appreciate Rich "Redrum" Grise coming out and lending a hand. Could not do this during the week witout him.
Jon your car sounded great and left the line bitchen. Great sight to see from behind.
Thanks to Marty Staggs for coming out and tuning and being there for advice.

Good to see several VW's running as well as the VW crowd out there supporting those running.

I was out doing my NHRA licensing passes. I got 4 of the 6 required but then my tranny started to make some noise so I stopped.
Yanked the tranny yesterday and dropped it off with Kevin at KCR, thanks buddy.
Be back to Irwindale on Oct 9th to finish my licensing.
See you guys in Vegas.
