K & L Motorsports presents The 3rd Annual Shriner's Winter Volksfest held on Feb 1, 2009 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.
This event is INDOORS! All VW car show and Swap meet.

Pre-registration is required for Vendors and show cars. You can try and get in Day of show, but there may not be room! This year we will be in the bigger section where the Imports have been in the past.

Don't forget you can also come and check out the Hot Rod and Drag Racing Expo at the same location on Jan 30 & 31.

This event does benefit the Shriner's Hospital!

More information & photos from the past can be found at www.sevwa.com

Right at a month away!
We only have a few pre-registered, NOW is the time to get those turned in!
You can pay via paypal with all your information or send via snail mail.
Remember, there is a chance that if you wait until day of show, you MIGHT get turned away!
Do you have lots of VW stuff laying around the house or garage? Why not get a vendor spot and sell some of your stuff!

If you will be there on Saturday evening, you are welcome to come and place your car in the show area (if you have other transportation) between 7-9pm. This is the time we will be setting it up for the vendors. After we are finished, it will be locked up for the night.

We still have 25 or more spots available for the show!
So WE WILL have Day of Show Registration and have room for you!
It is $40 and that gets you in the show and the driver in! You also can go into the Import show area as well for your admission. If you want a swap meet space, just make sure you are there on Saturday night or 8am sharp Sunday!
If you have a show car and bringing another vehicle as well, you are welcome to come on out Sat evening and place it in the show area. There will be security all night and the doors will be locked!
Please be aware that on Sat night they will have the AMA Arenacross Motorcycle race in the main building. It starts at 7:30, but as you come in the gates, there will be lines I am sure. We will be sure to get to the gates and let these people know that we are back there setting up for our event Sunday.

Sat - vendor/show car set up 7-9pm
Sun - set up time is 8-9:30am, we will get all the pre-registered in FIRST. So if you haven't registered, you will have to wait outside until all of them are in. If you are pre-registered, please get there early so we can go ahead and get you in!

If you are a spectator on Sunday, please be aware there will be a parking fee from the Coliseum, it could be anywhere from $2-$5. Also the Arenacross is also on Sunday!

Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting this event!
Like Keith said, we NEED you to pre-register and we can make this event so much bigger! I have heard that the parking lot was full of VWs, we would like to see them inside!

So do you have questions or comments about the event? What do YOU like or dislike about it? We want to hear from you! This event is for the VW enthusiast and we want to keep it going for years to come!

I am in the process of getting all the show information on the website along with the photos also. So be patient and I will post when they are ready.

I loved it. Had a great time. Wish I could have had my car there but I'm having rubbing issues and can't drive it till I get smaller tires.

A couple of my buddies came for the import show, they told me a person with a red Nissan that was sitting outside was revving their engine and slung a rod through the oil pan just a few minutes after I left. Cheesy
