There was a post about this a while ago. Is it done?  Did Old Dominion close?

Why can't they move the event to a better track? That place is a DUMP. I can't believe anybody would even think about taking their car down that track. I watched them cold patch the track out of the back of a truck before the event back in the early 90's.

yeah thats true! i think they are moving it to richmond. I know there's another post  about everything and they were talking about richmond and a better track...  Joe, you gonna make it to the strictlyvws show in Dover, De. this year?  no track at all hahah but hoping to get some nice cars to come out again this year.

Yes i agree the track is one of the worse track surfaces at any Vw race but the Bug Out has this awesome atmosphere that you won't find at any other event. There is so much going on. Walk over here watch drag racing, turn around and buy some parts, walk 20 feet you got used cars for sale, keep walking its the show cars, walk a little further you have slalom... and then... OH MY. MISS BUGOUT COMPETITION.

Theres just so much going on everywhere it's not even funny. Plenty of stuff for the entire family to do for a few hours and then truck it on home with some photos, parts, or maybe a new car. And as for the track conditions yes they are very low in some standards but Les gets close to 120 cars there every Bug Out. I don't know about you but this is by far the largest event on the east coast period that has drag, show, and swap.

I agree 100%. That is why I would like to see the same event at a better facility. I go to a show for the racing and that is why I haven't been to that show in a long time. Do any Pro Stocks even run down that track ??

The SEVWA will be running our points at these events this year. We plan to be there as well.
I have only attened once in years past and I must say it is a big event.
