In talks with the big three: Scat, Bugpack and Empi about having a car cruise on Saturday of the classic weekend. Will start off leaving Scat at 9am and head out to Bugpack then end at Empi for lunch. This is still all talks at this point but keep your fingers crossed! Hope they all give the OK!  |

Nice-- I was trying to do a 4th annual Skeeter Cruise the Sunday before the Classic, not sure about what we'll have going on with it, but would hate to stop the tradition...

OK its a go so mark your calenders for June 11 (Saturday , classic weekend ) Its still early for schedule but looks like we will leave Scat at 9am and head over to Bugpack then Empi for some food and soda. So any questions or if you would like to help out/ volunteer!

Update info on the Big Three Car Cruise! 6-6-11
Some more info on the cruise.
We will make 3x SHOP-STOPS and bunch of SHOP-DRIVE-THROUGH'S.
The three SHOP-STOPS will be Scat, Bugpack and the cruise will end at Empi.
These SHOP-STOPS we will get out and be given a full shop tour,
stretch our legs and check out each others rides etc.
We will also make some SHOP-DRIVE-THROUGH'S.
The SHOP-DRIVE-THROUGH'S will include:
VW-Parts-Unlimited, DPR, Clyde Berg, Proformance Motoring, LowBugget,
Gene Berg, Top Line, Ron Lummus Racing.
So i made a test drive on the cruise, had to make a few changes,
less left turns, drive by more monuments etc!
All i can say is this is going to be a blast, with the bridges in Long Beach and
the drive along the coast its going to be a sightseeing dream!
We will also drive by Anaheim Stadium were the OCTO show will be taking place and give all the Bus guys a nice
"Honk" of the VW horn's!
I have organized car cruises in the past but not with this many cool stops and all the freebies!
If your a VW nut and new to Sol Cal this will be a perfect road map of shops and go on a once in life time cruise!
