BandShell Bug Bash 05/26/07

Ok folks, its time for another Wolfsburg Kreuzers event. Our last event, the
Wolfsburg Kreauzers Winter Jam back in February was a big hit with over
40 VW's in attendance. This time around we are throwing an impromptu
Show N Shine at the Daytona Beach Band Shell, held in conjunction with
the Memorial Day at the Beach event. This event is a Art Show from 9am
to 4pm and then a live concert at 7pm and fireworks at night.

Who: All Volkswagens are invited to show for FREE
What: Bandshell Bug Bash (a free *unjudged show)
When: Saturday May 26th from 9 - 4pm
Where: Daytona Beach Bandshell (Located behind Ocean Walk Resort across
the street from the City Parking Garage on A1A (Atlantic Ave) in Daytona Beach, Florida)
Why: Probably the last VW event in Florida before it gets to damn hot!!!


*There will only be an award for Best of Show, Peoples Choice, Best
Hood Ride, & Farthest Distance Traveled

Just found out space in the main area may be limited to the first
50 Cars, so try to get there early if you can... The art Show starts
at 9am.

I will try to find out this week the earliest we can start letting cars
onto the bandshell

In addition to the VW Show and the Art Show, there will also be a
night time festival on Main Street from 5pm to 10pm.... Details Below

Main St. - Daytona Beach. Main Street starts summer and celebrates
Memorial Day with a huge block party from the ocean to the river with
Red, White & Brew Festival.  This street party runs from 5p – 10p on
Saturday, May 26, 2007. 

 Enjoy some local fun this Memorial Weekend because this closed-to-
traffic Main Street festival has it all – American Micro-Brews available in
tasting and full sizes, and well-known national brands will be on sale
for those less adventurous.  The festival also offers several food courts,
vendors, exhibits, a kid’s area and car show.

Admission is free and parking is plentiful throughout the Main Street area
on county owned parking lots and at the Ocean Center parking garage. 
This festival is sponsored by Miller Lite, Sauza Tequila, the Main Street
Merchant Association, the City of Daytona Beach and Black Crow Media.
