On July 28th, my husband Tim (Schell59), owner of 401 Restos and car restorer extraordinaire, got in a horrific car accident in my ’66 Beetle. The good news is he’s okay; the bad news is he broke his right ankle and left leg and will be out of commission for quite some time. I want to first thank all of our friends and family members who have helped us in his journey towards recovery. On Sunday, September 19th, there will be a benefit for Tim & 401 Restos at Dan’s Place, 880 Victory Highway, West Greenwich, RI, 02817. Festivities will begin around noon and will include a steak fry, bike run, car gathering and live entertainment provided by The Gamma Rays (one of the top rock-a-billy bands on the East Coast).
