Today (Thursday June 7) the Airforce Thunderbirds had 2 practice sessions. First one at 11am the second at 3pm. Both sessions lasted about 1 hour. The volume was cranked up!
In addition to the T-Birds there was a practice session for an F-22 Raptor (Stealth Fighter), and Fly-Ins of 2 F-14 Tomcats, a B-1 Bomber, a C-130 Hercules, and various other stunt and military aircraft.
Scheduled for Friday June 8, are 2 more practice sessions for the Thunderbirds and the Raptor, with additional stunters taking to the air and various other military aircraft arriving.
Our location is in the direct flight path of the performing aircraft. We have a very comfortable viewing area. This will undoubtly be the closest you will ever be to performing aircraft. They perform high speed low level passes directly above us.

Come join us to enjoy an afternoon with your VW friends. See an awesome display of Air Power on the ground and in the skies.

I wish I could be there, but cannot be at two places at once.
Enjoyed the good times, hospitality, and the commaraderie of VW friends hanging out in front of the shop watching the Blue Angels fly overhead last year.

I wish I saw this earlier.  I was at my mother in-laws house on Zinfindel.  We took our chairs down to the park and watched from there.  Maybee next year??  Sounds like fun.
