Seems like most of the midwest shows have gone away, the midwest guys need to support these shows before they are gone. This thread seems to have lost interest so I am bumping to the top. What classes are they running? Payouts?

Yes if you go to www.ddkvw.com there is a button for 131 Bug Run with the details.  I will be picking up the flyers today from the track.

I'm hoping to make it out to this one.  Have not been to a VW race since Georgia in March  Sad
It's about a 6 hour drive for me.  Who else is in?

Here is a copy of the flyer - you can check out the new Hot VW's Mid West Scene page 40-41 September 07 it has a little write up.  131 Bug Run is a new event put on by Knoll Gas Motorsports - In the article it does call the event Volksbash but should have been the 131 Bug Run.

The weather and location could not have been netter.  I believe 50+ show cars, some real nice ones too.  The drag race portion was weak.  I'd say 25 cars at best.  Was really hoping to see a good turnout.  Like I say weather was perfect for VW drag racing.  Maybe next year?

Check out this thread on the Samba.  Good follow up and some photos.

Next year promises to be even better!
