How did Pat do in the Fiat??
I only went on Sunday , pitted next to the Inspector and John Leso . We made 2 nice easy passes . Just wanted to see what's what and to get rid of the 7 million butterflies that have been living in the pit of my belly . The first pass , ironically , brought Fontana rushing back into my head as the car would not stick at all and seemed to be very attracted to the center line 7.59 at 69 mph

. After a few small adjustment (Thank you Johnny) and a bigger burn out , the car went alot better at a 6.30 at 113.5 mph.
It was a great time, some friends and family were there and we all felt pretty darn good about the day considering the long road we had travelled in the last 13 months . It feels great to be back .
Thanks again to everybody for everything
and big thanks to Alan who was very buisy helping out with the car all day . Pat
