friend has a set of 44 empi brand new, should I buy or rebuild my 42dcnf bergs, can buy empis cheap?

I've not run the empis, but from what I've heard they aren't very good.

I personally love my 42s and they are among the smoothest carbs out there when set up properly.  They are also old school cool.  If you can't run IDAs then run the 42s.

I am talking dirt cheap. like a couple franklins. but the money I can buy these for I can buy rebuild kits for dcnf. but I thought they were a good buy, but I will leave them alone.
