I really love your car.  It looks awesome.  The wave to the bystander was hilarious.

Cool car, but I don't know why anyone does that on a skinny ass street like that with cars all up one side, in the city, with pedestrians - hope THEY aren't that foolish.  I'd like to hear about some track times though.. that things sounds silly fast.

with someone riding in the back?   Roll Eyes  sorry, i don't get it...  crowded narrow street and any slip would have been a major mistake.  please, please, please leave that on the track!

Hey Liou,
It's not your fault back in 1987 that car had been known to make a couple of neighborhood rips in San Diego too.
Every time it did the neighbors would call the city to ticket my oversize car trailer I kept on the street.
That is some wide angle lens, 140 degree?
Maybe the lens helps make the road seem even narrower?
For sure the row of trees and all the parked cars give a real sensation of speed even if you just barely clicked it into 3rd.
That seemed plenty fast.
The sound was excellent!
I'd like to send you the “Best Competition” jacket that was awarded to Tickled Pink at the 1987 VW Jamboree.
Drop me an email or private message with your information.
Car looks awesome, great job keeping it so nice!
Be safe.

All the experience in the world ain't gonna do a guy a bit of good if someone steps out at the last minute or the car gets squirrellly with limited places to go.  My vote, track only, street crap is just asking for trouble, worst case of all is hitting an unsuspecting pedestrian.

Come on guys! You act like you have never got on it other than being at the track!

I did plenty of stupid stuff when I was younger than 20, but--without any personal degradation to the guy who did it, as there's no need to fling insults--I'm strongly against driving stupidly on the street.  VWs, hondas, Chevies, doesn't matter to me, just not wise.
