Is there a way to identify wizemann lifters? Are there any markings on the lifter?

This is a picture of the mark that is on all 8 lifters in a set that I was told are NOS made in Germany, but have no way to confirm (no original packaging). Anyone ever notice a mark like this?

My current set of Wizemann's do not have that mark and I don't recall seeing it on any previous sets (however, I've only had four or five sets total over the years, as they last so long).

The only lifters that i know made in germany are the wizemann,EHB and Febi Bilstein .
But they are all cast ones (like yours)and so there is no garantee that they last long

I don't have a pic, but the original VW lifters have a VERY tiny"VW emblem" stamped in them in the groove just below the head of the lifter. You usually have to take a small wire brush, and clean it to find the marking. When I manage to gather a few sets, I send them out to SLR for resurfacing.
