MAN I MISSED THIS POST SOME HOW... THERE IS NO "BEST OF SHOW" AT THE CLASSIC.. I THINK ITS BEEN LIKE THAT SINCE THE LATE 80'S.. THEY GIVE OUT  A PROMOTERS CHOICE BUT THATS IT....IT WOULD BE NICE TO BRING BACK A "BEST OF SHOW" AT THE "GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH"... SORRY FOR THE LATE RESPONSE.....

Thats really too bad because it sounds like there was a grey 58' ragtop that would have certainly been in the running for it.

I didn't realize that there was no "Best of Show",..there should be. I would venture to guess that there are no "judged" classed at the Classic then. When is the participate voting going to find it's way out? The "Classic" is a Giant show to say the least and judging a show of that size is an undertaking, but that show if any deserves the attention.

Maybe next year?

Maybe you could get at team of judges together and judge 450 plus cars, I say it would be almost impossible to do in one day. Frank.

The Classic is to BIG.......It should be a 3-day show, at least.  People started leaving at 3:00?Huh? It was my first trip to the Classic, and we stayed late.....There is no way we saw even half of whats to see.  I cant believe the biggest show on earth is only like 7-8 hours long?Huh?  I've been to shows with 120 cars that take 2 days to "judge".   Cheesy

Derrell should have got best of show, that car is amazing Cool

If I had to judge a car at the Classic to be the best of show it would have to be Darrell Bakers car in second place would be a 1955 oval from Canada . Darrell alowed me to pick this car apart at his home on Friday night. I could not find any issues.

  Great job Darrell
