I am thinking of running all disc brakes on my 65 beetle. It's in need of a brake system overhaul so I figured I'd upgrade and replace everything.

One of the things I wanted to do/try was the Volvo 240 brake Reservoir. I think the 65 had a single port on the MC. I can just order any dual set up MC and then install the Volvo Reservoir on top of that correct? It's been a while since I've messed with it. I did it on my 67, while I never got drive it.. I liked the set up on it.

This time I will run the cap away from the pan head.

Yep.  I think CIP1 and CB Perf. sell the res. now as well.  I have this set up on my '67, works great.

Yeah, I found a brand new unit on Ebay for $40. I then found it for $11 buck or so at CB Performance.  Oh well! Smiley  The $40 was for the entire brake M/C.. so maybe I'll try to re-coop some of the cost.
