Hi Guys,
Happy New Year !
I'm seriously thinking about upgrading my 2110 engine with IDAs and use them with DRD L6 heads I'd buy at aircooled.net and a web 86b cam.
So far I'm using CB offset manifolds with 45 DRLAs and I need to use 3 1/4" air cleaners in order to be able to close the decklid.
I want to keep my thing fanshroud and use air cleaners as it is a street car (not IGT type ones but k&N preferably).
Looking for a short type manifold I came accross 2 :
- Gene Berg 587 but they seem really short and not the best in terms of cfm ;
- Udo Beckers as seen on this website :
http://www.vwparts.net/CSP129712148.html (actually they are not CSP products)
What do you think of the second ones in terms of fitment, performance and so on?
I'd rather use a pair of Gene Berg 590 but I guess I'd have some clearance issues

Thanks
Phil
