Hey guys,
I have a questions about my rear engine seal. The seal that keeps the hot air out of the engine compartment. It has two flaps. Do both flaps fold to the inside of the engine compartment? Or should one go on the inside and one on the outside?
I have always wondered about this. Seems to me that one on each side would provide a better seal?Huh
      Thanks

I was amazed at how much heat that seal keeps out.  I once accidentally forgot to install a new seal in my '70 before reinstalling the 1776 engine... oil temps went way high with the decklid on... didn't have a head temp gauge yet, so no idea on where they were.  Had to drive it with the lit off when I did drive it (very rarely) for any type of distance.  Lesson learned!
