why do you want chrome intakes ? chrome atracts heat ! there for it will warm up your fuel .... but just my thought's !

Kafdog,
Good Point on the heat! I like chrome because you wax it good a couple of times and it looks great for a long time!
I can polish them, but it always dulls after a while. I did wax my alloys after having them polished and they have done quite well in terms of maintenance. The wax helps greatly.
Maybe I will polish them real good and them put a coat of wax on them.
Thanks

I was thinking, it "MAY" just keep the intake air cooler then without the plating. It may shield the incoming air fuel mixture from heat coming off the motor and heating up the incoming mixture......

If your "Snow Bound" in the winter, like me, then it's just something to pass the time....Drink a few cold ones, and start polishin'!!

WV-VW,
Nope, not snow bound here in So. California. I just want it to look really good. It's been raining like hell here though!
