Judging by our traffic stats, thousands of you have been following the "Pinks" television series action on the Cal-Look Forum. The brain child of LoCash Racing's John Hunt, who asked for support from Forum members in donating parts and labor in order to build a Beetle drag car to compete for pink slips on the popular television series, the car was eventually "lost" during the January 15th race. Or was it?
The race was very controversial, with the Honda race team being awarded a win after the VW team was accused of sandbagging. Because of the thousands of emails from upset Forum participants and listeners of the popular online radio show, Volksbash Radio, a rematch has been set for March 3rd at Speedworld Raceway Park in Surprise, Arizona.
