HI, please help me again;

I want to buy a nitrous kit

what is the best kit for my application ?

I will use it to probably explore top speed and some sunday drag

my car is not a daily driver but is not a drag, I enjoy my beetle !

I have a 2110cc that you help me to built. my trans is a a freeway flyer that I love it and I donīt want  to change it, I have a stock trans and a hewland trans. but I will stay with the 3.88, I know that is not adequate for drag but I love the high speed cruise and low rpm at the engine.

I will use the nitrous kit with medical nos only.

My engine is 9.1 cr, 041 heads with 40, 35.5 v., dual 40 idf with 34 venturis. 125 cam, dual valve springs.

Ignition, I recently bought a 685 mallory with retard.

Im thinking in the nos kit 05080NOS
Sportsman Fogger Nitrous System

with  18/22   22/26 jets

or what is your advice ?

some friends invite me to small group of friends  that drag at weekends and I enjoy it, then I want to have some fun with my beetle vs some japanese cars

I dont built my engine as  hp mosnter ,  I wanted a reliable engine, but I believe that the engine can handle a 50 hp nos shot from time to time
then if I have a realistic  90 hp or something like less than 100 hp plus a 25 -50 nos shot . sounds great !

I supose that I can buy a pair of slicks

let me know where can I bought the nos kit, brand and some items that probably I will need

thanks in advance

ok,

The advice is black
I already have 2 red fuel pump new in box that I never used, and regulator

Nos instructions says , flowing at least 0.10 gallons per hour at 5 psi

holley webpage for red says - 71 gph at 4 psi with 3/8 lines

then the red fuel pump is  more than capable for this application

what is your advice to gave it an oportunity to the red pump ?, small diameter lines ?, pressure set up ?

The red pump will not put out the psi required. I run a red pump for the carbs and a blue pump for the juice. The blue pump will put out the psi required. You will be in the 6.5 to 7.5 psi area on the juice. I run 7 psi.

Personally, I don't like anything with the word "kit" in it.

ok,
I will try with a fuel pump from a  beetle fuel injection
About 40 psi, is external , I need to do an adapter to the fuel tank .
A return line
I will use  my holley fuel pressure regulator.

You do not need a pump that puts out that much pressure, I think the Inspector has fuel injection, you only need about 6 to 7 pounds max if you are just using carbs!

If you need real expert advice, call the experts.

DO NOT do what I do..........

Last time out I used 36 nos JETS...
         DO NOT try that either
we no longer have fuel jets as we have Fuel Injection now....hence the high pressure pump .......

For your application 5.5 psi is Fine
