Hi folks. I have owned Beetles for 30 years. Was my first car.
Now I have just bought a 1972 Standard, since I just sold my 74 SB. I just could not get used to the super.
Mine is used almost daily, but needs tlc. But figured I would throw some photos up, and of course, come spring, after paint, and motor, I will add more pics. Just for reference, I did not put those mirrors on. They will be changed over the weekend!
I forgot to take new photoss yesterday, after putting headers on also.....Thanks!

I would work on killin the rust on those quarter panels before I worried about those mirrors! The mirrors may come in handy!

I just didn't like the dash, windshield, front end. I prefer the look of the standard.

Oh yeah, of course. I already have the quarters, and just bought a new mig. Although I need practice with the mig. i am hopefully moving very shortly, the house we're trying to buy has a double car garage. I currently have to work in a gravel driveway not fun!
