I picked this 69 Fastback a few weeks back. Original paint and interior, 1915, 40 Dells. Its turning out to be a pretty nice driver while my 65 Panel is under construction.

That looks like the EXACT car I saw in Phoenix a couple years ago near the host hotel for BOR... I especially remeber the wheels, you can't give those things away in their factory form. The guy told me he sanded and rubbed forever to get them to look so nice, I like 'em alot. Very nice car too, what did you have to give for it if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks guys. I kinda like the wheels to but I just picked up a set of Pedrinis that I`ll probably run. I`ve owned lots of Bugs and Buses but never a type 3.

The Bug went to Florida and I don`t think I`ll make it to the Invasion. Its kinda far from me.

Wow, VERY clean car! Im a sucker for a nice Fastback, my favorite of the T3's. Congrats man, super nice!

Oh yeah, btw.......do the car (and yourself) a huge favor and NEVER refer to it as a "Fasty". Like "dizzy" and "Splitty", just better if you dont. And if the car hears you say it, its apt to leave you on the side of the road out in West Geehosafat someplace just out of spite.

Sorry Scott and Paul. Wink

You mean like I drove my fasty down to the pub to meet my mate and pick up a new dizzy for my Splitty bus?
