Bill T - Like many on this forum, I watch the SPEED channel a lot.  I did see your bus on the advertisement for Bull Run.  I was wondering if  the cool VW Bus that I saw was going to be in the race (competition) or not.  That's too cool!  Good luck!!!

Bill, I about jumped out of my chair when I saw the bus come through the screen on the commercial! I can't wait to see how you hang with them Detroit boys! (Nothing against American muscle, just partial to the German metal! \m/ )

WOW!  Good Luck!  We have a guy here in Oregon that built a car for Bull Run.  He had his engine built by a guy that's we;; known, yet had some personal issues, and has now translated to engine failure.  That said, he's shooting for the next one.  He's running a 1914T, not sure it's enough though.   Undecided

What are the specs on the bus?? ?? ??

Good luck Bill!  I am looking forward to watching!  My 2276  EFI I/C Turbo is locked in the shop due to a couple inces of ice on top of acouple inces of snow out here!  Remember navigation, navigation navigation!!  Every one who got eliminated was usually due to navigational errors.  We will be rooting for you (from the warmth of the easy chair...unfortunately!) in Pa.!

Was a great 1st episode! I loved how they kept giving the VW guys crap about sitting in the gas station for so long planning their route; and they came in 4th!!! 5 minutes of planning will save you hours of trouble!

Judging by the previews they showed, looks like they put them cars through the ringer! Saw one where the bus had both doors open smashing light bulbs or something. Should be good!!

Loved it!  Watched last night's episode of the 1st leg to Vegas.  It was very nice to see ACVW's represented well on television.  Even my 12-yr. old daughter caught the engine specs.  She says, "...a 2270's not a Porsche engine..."

And, what a clean looking bus!

Good job, gents!

The prison thing was crazy! How about the Dart boys flipping the car!?!?!? You know he had to feel like a real dumba$$ for that one!
I was really impressed how the rest of the teams stepped up to help them out. I especially liked the way the guy said the only thing the Evo was good for was to hang his coat on the mirror!!! LOL!

Can't wait for this week!

Go Team VW!!!
