first time poster here thought I'd share my new love. I purchased this 69 beetle 12 months ago and have been doing bits and pieces. New shocks, ball joints, 2 inch narrowed adjustable beam, empi 8 wheels and new tyres. new sound system, drop spindles.

The beetle already had type 3 rear drums, front discs, ford front seats, 1600 twin port motor. My plans for the car in the next 3 months are pop out rear windows, new interior and sidewinder exhaust.

The first photo is what the car looked like when i purchased and the second was taken today. I know its now a pure cal look but i am probably thinking about looking that way. I would like different front and rear bars but living in Sydney Australia makes it difficult to find locally. I do like a set on CP1 C26-707-111 - BILLET STYLE 3-RIB ALUMINUM REAR BUMPER BEETLE 46-79 (SHIPPING CHARGES APPLY) however without seeing them its a risk.

Would welcome comments and what i would need to further make it a cal look bug
