Can someone please help me out with a schematic diagram for an MSD Soft Touch #8728...I am wiring mine up but lost the diagram.

You can go to MSD Ignition website and download the directions at the Tech Support section, www.msdignition.com

John I have a cheap alternative to buying the "pills" like $.10 cheap. Call me if you want info

Sorry been busy. You can take a 3k and a 6k pill, measure the resistance and map out a graph to find out what ANY rpm would be

The "pills" are nothing more than a resistor

take any pill and its double, like 4k and 8k and draw 2 points on a graph, then map out the figures for the rpm you want.
But the resistor and fold over the wire to make a tapered fit into the MSD box
