I found a Meyer's Manx the other day and was wondering how many were made. It has a B F Meyer serial number tag with a serial number of 1588. It looks to be on an early '60s pan. The body is in pretty good shape, the dash is there, the hood is there, and it hasn't been cut up anywhere. I might be able to get some pics but what is a ballpark figure on what an original Manx body is worth?  THANKS,  Mike

Hey Mike check out Bruce Meyer's site and register. I had one and the numbers on the serial plate will give you dates, body style and colors. They are highly sought after as you know.

Mike, If its a 4 digit only ser # its a later body,  70 -on. The later bodys were thinner but still desirable. Orig gel coat? cracking? side pods? windshield, rollbar? All these things help elevate the price. Just to start a decent restorable body $1000 up. On decent pan- 1500- 2000. Complete but needs resto- 2500 - 4000. Nice driver- 4000-up
I may be off a little on pricing, been out of the Meyers loop a few years. A Manx collector "has been".
If you get any pics email them and maybe I can give you more of an idea.
