Hey, Jim, I have a buddy up here in the redwoods, named Gary Petersen, a just-retired CHP officer, that says he is on contact with Beuler from time to time. Gary had a Squareback with a FK-89 IDA engine "back in the day"... I'll see if I can't talk him out of some contact info...

Crescent City, CA, 80 Miles North of Eureka, 18 miles south of the Oregon border, I mean right smack dab in the middle of the redwoods... Grin

KAferdave,
My aunt and uncle live there! Yea, REDWOODS RIGHT DOWN TO THE OCEAN! It's a bitchen place if you can handle the rain!
The Salmon fishing is great! A few years back at the mouth of one of the rivers my uncle was out fishing.
He was watching the Indians catch fish, the seals eating thier fish, and the Killer whales eating the seals!!!
Man, the things we miss here in the city...................

Dave you ever head over to Jedidiah Smith Park? Awesome hiking, right along Smith River. I camped there once for a week, it was beautiful.

Someone should track down Mark and find out if he still has it, or where it went...kind of piqued my curiosity on this one!

with the progress of the internet in the last 10 years.....look at the oldies but goodies that can be dug up....I personally love hearing about old cars being "discovered" or guys from the old days getting back to their hot rodding roots.
